Shadow Panda

Shadow Panda shrimp are a captivating variety of Taiwan Bee shrimp. They're distinguished by their striking black and white patterns, similar to their black panda counterpart, but with a unique twist: a noticeable blue hue. This blue coloration sets them apart and intensifies as the shrimp matures.

* Size: Typically reaches about 1.2 inches in length.

These elegant creatures are a prized addition to any shrimp enthusiast's collection, but they do require specific water parameters and careful attention.

You will receive Shadow Panda or Shadow King Kong shrimp. These shrimp will be shipped at about a half an inch. The smaller they are shipped the easier it is to acclimate them to a new aquarium. The shrimp will reach breeding age if not already within 1-2 months of receiving them.

Shadow Panda shrimp, like other Caridina shrimp, are quite sensitive to water conditions. Providing the ideal parametersis crucial for their health and vibrant coloration.
Ideal Water Parameters:
* pH: 5.5 - 6.8 (slightly acidic)
* GH (General Hardness): 3 - 6 dGH (soft water)
* KH (Carbonate Hardness): 0 - 2 dKH (low carbonate hardness)
* Temperature: 68-78°F (20-25°C)
Additional Considerations:
* Water Quality: Clean, soft, and acidic water is essential.
* Ammonia and Nitrite: Levels should be zero.
* Nitrate: Keep levels below 25 ppm.
